| d. Novitiate |
Each day is a gift to be opened with a prayer |
| Throughout Novitiate, the novice is primarily involved in a process. Formation takes place mainly in the context of Evangelical counsels. | e. Juniorate |
| During the years of temporary vows, the junior sister experiences the challenges from following Jesus radically. She is helped constantly to integrate her experience of God in prayer; vowed life lived in fraternity and in her involvement in mission through Holy Cross community. It is also a time of discernment for the junior sister whether she want to be a permanent member of the Holy Cross Congregation. |

Each one has a mission to fulfill, a mission of love |

| f. Final Commitment |
We are not called to work for God, but to let God work through us |
| At the end of the juniorate years, the sister makes her commitment entirely to God for the whole life time. By this she becomes a permanent member of the Congregation.
She continues to live her life of dedication in all the events evermore zealously renewing daily. |

| Community life and on going formation |
| The process of personal growth and conversion continues as we live in community. Life in community gives us a chance to have deeper relationship with God. This orientation towards God can be experienced in our community prayer, faith sharing, and mutual acceptance, trust, concern and support. We insert ourselves into the life stream of the people and together we build a faith community. |
“Jesus calls us individually: Come, follow me!
Jesus sends us communally: Go to my sisters and brothers.
God calls us to a personal relationship with him
And he sends us to solidarity with the poor.
God invites us to contemplation
And sends us to serve his people.
We are rooted in the love of God
And we are available for the people.
We are called to live the Word of God
And we are sent to proclaim the Good News.”
