Our Vision & Mission |
| Our Vision |
| We work towards a Society rooted in the Gospel values of love, peace and justice especially in the States of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh where our Mission is concentrated and our Province is geographically situated. |
| Our Mission |
| “That they may have life and have it in abundance” (Jn 10:10). This Gospel vision is for us Holy Cross Sisters of the Central Indian Province, is a promise, a challenge and a programme for life. |
| We believe that we are called to collaborate with God to bring life into the death situations of today’s Society in which we live, transforming it through Gospel values. |
| We respond to this call by committing ourselves to the service of humanity especially of the feminine youth, the women, the sick and the marginalized. |
| We do this out of love for Jesus the Crucified and Risen Christ, finding God’s will in the needs of the time and living out the spirituality and Charism of our Founders. |
| The focus of our mission |
To continue the healing ministry of Christ in the institutions as well as at the village level. |
To continue to strive for the empowerment of the poor and the marginalized people and restore their human dignity. |
To continue to work towards the uplift of the dignity of women who are rejected by their own families and also by the society, by providing them rehabilitation services. |
To continue to participate actively in the pastoral activities of the local Church. |
To continue to impart education – academic, moral and spiritual – through educational institutions or in the parishes. |
To continue to care for the terminally ill who are rejected by society and assist them in their last days of life. |
To continue to give more emphasis on being in solidarity with poor, seeking fullness of life and equality in the Church and in the Society. |
